Hi my name is Brendan Tunney. I have chronic pain in the soft tissue in my foot for 4+ years I have been to Laser Therapy Level 4 and ART therapy, Foot Specialist, Neurologist, PT and Podiatrists. I have had an MRI which was negative. No one can find out why I have so much pain in the bottom area of my foot. They think it maybe plantar fascitis but no cure so far I need help. Would you recommend Prolotherapy, Ultrasonographic Evaluation of Plantar Fascia Bands or Coblation procedures? I am going for whole body MRI and Bone Scan. Thank you for any ideas.

Hi Brendan

I need a few more details, where exactly is the pain, the inside of the heel or arch area? With Plantar fasciitis, the pain usually occurs when you first get out of bed and put the foot to the floor and eases off as you walk, then if you have been resting and stand the pain reoccurs, the pain also tends to get worse at the end of the day if you have been on your feet. Does this match your symptoms?

If so I find stretching exercises for the calf muscle work, along with orthotics and maybe a corticosteroid injection.

Sam
